How are we adapting in light of Covid-19? TLG Education Centres

The second in a series of blogs, explaining how we've adapted how our TLG Education Centres run in response to the pandemic. Education Centres have taken on a more "hybrid" approach, providing a mixture of online and face-to-face support, to make sure no pupil is forgotten in this crisis.

Jasmine graduated from The University of Sheffield in the summer of 2019, and has been working for TLG since. She's worked within the Volunteer Programmes and Supporter Relations teams, and is now serving TLG within Comms and Influence. Our third and final blog in this series, detailing how we've adapted our Make Lunch programme in keeping with government guidelines. In 2 months, our Make Lunch church partners have delivered an astonishing 15,000 meals to children and families facing food insecurity, alongside providing other practical and relational support.

Tribute to Martin Flatman

Tim Morfin is the founder and Chief Executive of TLG. Tim, together with a group of other volunteers from a local church, began TLG by helping young people struggling in school in Bradford. He now leads the organisation nationally, still committed to bringing hope and a future to children and their families. He is married to Rachel and has three teenage sons.

Before coming to TLG, Beth worked as a Fundraising Project Manager for poverty-relief charity Christians Against Poverty. Beth also has expansive experience in the political sector. Beth is a season ticket holder at Huddersfield Town and enjoys hiking through the Yorkshire countryside followed by a local ale in the pub.
