Who are the facilitators?
Adeola Oludemi is the Head of Coaching at TLG and an ICF accredited executive coach having completed the MSc in Coaching and Behavioural Change at Henley Business School.
Adeola has a deep belief in the power of coaching to help people see new possibilities, make thoughtful choices, and step into positive change. As a committed advocate for the local church and its role in the community, Adeola is genuinely excited by the TLG Coaching Academy and the opportunity it creates to equip ministry leaders, youth workers, children’s workers, and volunteers to make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of young people.

Emily is an EMCC‑accredited coach, trained through the Animas Centre for Coaching, and is Executive Director at TLG.
Emily loves how coaching helps to create environments where people experience those powerful breakthrough moments when something suddenly clicks and they see their situation with new clarity. Emily is excited about facilitating on the Coaching Academy to equip children, youth and ministry leaders to nurture those same lifegiving moments, so that young people both in and outside the church can grow in confidence and step into their future with purpose.

Chris is a Level 7 Accredited Coach, Certified MBTI Practitioner and holds two Master’s degrees in Leadership. He runs his own coaching practice (chrisfrostcoaching.com) and is co-author of Leadiagrams: 52 Visuals to Help You Thrive in Your Faith and Lead Effectively. With over 20 years of church leadership experience, Chris currently serves as Team Leader at Gateway Church, Leeds, and UK Team Leader for ChristCentral churches.
Chris is passionate about helping leaders gain clarity, confidence and courage in their calling. Having experienced first-hand the transformational impact of skilful coaching, he loves equipping ministry leaders to serve others in life-changing ways. He is excited to be part of the Coaching Academy and to see how God uses it to strengthen and support those investing in the next generation.
Helen is ICF an Professional Certified Coach & C-Me Accredited.
She has over 15 years’ experience coaching a hugely diverse range of people, and she has seen time and again how powerful coaching can be. Whether working with young people in care, senior leaders, unemployed young adults or corporate managers, Helen believes coaching has a unique ability to get to the heart of a challenge and empower people to change. She is excited to be part of the Coaching Academy, supporting others to discover the transformative impact of coaching and what it can mean for the individuals they walk alongside.
Chianne is an ICF-accredited ACC coach, currently working towards her PCC accreditation, and a counsellor passionate about helping people unlock their potential and build greater self-awareness. She began her coaching journey in 2015 with Spear on their award-winning programme, supporting young people facing barriers to employment, and has since worked with leaders and teams across industries, including Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Tesco, Red Bull, Love Your Neighbour, and Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation.
Chianne holds an MSc in Integrative Counselling & Coaching and is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She finds deep joy in facilitating moments of insight and self-discovery, holding a strong belief in every client’s capacity to grow, step into the best version of themselves, and “bloom where they’re planted”.

Frequently Asked Questions
The standalone course fee for the Coaching Academy is £2,495 per person. This covers all training and resources. For those also joining the Coaching Network for a minimum of two years, a discounted rate of £1,795 is offered for 2026, effectively granting 20 months’ network subscription free. Ongoing access to the Coaching Network costs £35 per month, which includes reflective care, resources, and webinars. Accreditation with the Universal Coaching Alliance involves a one-off fee of £250 and an annual membership fee of £55.

The Coaching Academy is a one-year accredited coaching programme to equip children, family, and youth ministry leaders and volunteers, with therapeutic coaching skills for use in one to one or group settings. It includes comprehensive training, in-person and online sessions, and the opportunity to pursue full coach accreditation.
The Coaching Network is a community that supports participants, during and beyond the Academy training, including monthly reflective care sessions, subscription to a secure online platform for recording coach notes and access to up-to-date trauma-informed resources, and networking opportunities.
While the Academy provides the foundational training and qualification, the Network offers ongoing support, collaboration, and resources to sustain effective ministry practice.
Your church can partner with TLG to sponsor you by paying the monthly subscription fee which enables you to join the Coaching Network. This commitment ensures you can participate in group reflective care sessions, access specialised training and resources, and be part of a wider community of ministry leaders. This partnership also enables your church to track the impact made in your setting and ensures sustainable support for you in your role.
The 2026/2027 Coaching Academy programme has two cohorts running for either 9 or 6 months. They consist of two full in-person training days - one at the beginning and one at the end - plus five remote online sessions. Locations for in-person training include London for Cohort 1, and options of Bradford and Edinburgh for Cohort 2, with specific dates outlined for each cohort below. The remainder of the sessions are delivered online, allowing for flexibility and accessibility.

By attending the Coaching Academy, you gain integrative coaching skills, therapeutic expertise, and a robust understanding of child psychological development and trauma-informed approaches. On completion, you can work towards becoming an accredited coach, recognised by the Universal Coaching Alliance.
By joining the Coaching Network, you’ll also benefit from joining a vibrant network of ministry leaders who receive ongoing supervision, professional development, and gain access to digital resources to enhance your ministry’s impact.
