Your church
Everything at TLG begins with the local church.
The local church is our birthplace- our home. In our earliest days, we were a small church in Bradford, responding to the needs of local children struggling in our community.
From first-hand experience, we know what it’s like to see children and young people around us going through a tough time, to desperately want to help them, and to grapple with the best way to do that.
We’ve tried and tested what works and what doesn’t. In the process, we’ve grown into a nationwide charity operating in partnership with 220+ churches across the UK.
With over 25 years of experience, our mission to equip local churches to support children struggling with their emotional and mental wellbeing remains the same- it’s just we’re now doing it with more churches, supporting more children and families.
Every day, we’re working with churches wanting to shine light into the darkest corners of their communities. We provide missionally minded Christians with proven programmes, trusted resources and ongoing support so they can be there for children and families going through tough times.
Our vision is for fullness of life for every child, no matter what struggles they face.

I want to enquire about a running a TLG programme at my church
We want to be a church where the local community would feel a sense of loss if we ceased to exist. TLG helps us achieve that vision by making it so easy for volunteers in our church to help some of the most vulnerable children in our community. - Simon Benham, Pastor at Kerith Community Church
