Not every child who struggles is picked up by their school or local GP, and when families are under pressure, children’s emotional and mental health needs can go unnoticed. 

When your mental health isn’t right, everything becomes harder. Poor mental health: 

- is one of the leading reasons children miss school. 
- makes it harder for children to build and maintain relationships. 
- makes children more vulnerable to self-harm. 
- shapes how children see themselves and their future.*

By supporting TLG and our partner churches, you create safe, trusted spaces where children facing complex challenges can find stability, connection and care. Your generosity equips churches and volunteers with the training and resources they need to walk alongside children and families in compassionate, practical ways. 

Because of you, children struggling at school can access one‑to‑one, trauma‑informed coaching from a trusted adult. Families can gather around shared meals that restore a sense of belonging. Volunteers are trained and supported so they can respond compassionately to children facing real challenges.
