Impact for the Future!

2022. What a year, hey?! Throughout the both highs and the lows of the past year, we have been delighted to see thousands of children receive dedicated support through TLG’s programmes. That support is transforming lives all across the UK!
We’ve seen struggling children find confidence through Early Intervention coaching; learning to understand difficult emotions and practicing coping techniques. Every session has an impact, reducing children’s anxieties and increasing their positivity and aspirations. At TLG Make Lunch clubs, families struggling with the cost of living crisis have been welcomed into loving communities. Worries have been lifted with every hot and healthy meal served and new friendships have flourished. We’ve supported children through some of the most challenging circumstances in our Education Centres, providing safe spaces for children to learn and grow, and to find hope for their futures.
Here are some of our 2022 highlights!
We know that for some children, life can feel a bit like being in a boxing ring - and 2022 was no exception. These children need someone to walk alongside them, to offer support when life is tough and to help them grow and thrive. Our TLG volunteers are doing just that, and we’re confident in the lasting impact this support is making and will continue to make.
We believe that the heartbreaking issues children are facing are not part of God's plan, but that real change is possible. Through passionate local churches, we're seeing JOY spread to the lives of struggling children!
As a Christian charity, we’re confident in the difference that churches of all shapes and sizes can make in their own communities. With our network of partner churches, we are committed to reaching out to the most vulnerable children in the UK and seeing hope spread. With expertise in emotional wellbeing, food insecurity and education, and a crucial understanding of trauma-awareness underpinning all we do, TLG is committed to seeing children’s lives transformed for good, through 2023 and beyond.
