This live 60 minute training session will introduce the ‘Let’s think about… Caring for You’ booklet for supportive adults in the lives of children and teens.
A collaboration between Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) and Safe Families, this event will be delivered by Rae Morfin (founder of TLG Early Intervention programme and Head of TLG Therapeutic Support) and Fiona Eve (Safe Families National Lead for Trauma Informed Support), the authors of the ‘Let’s think about…’ booklet series.
We are passionate about equipping the non-specialists. While specialists are absolutely vital, we believe the ‘walk-alongsiders’ hold a significant role in supporting our children and young people during day-to-day life.
We will jump into the booklet and draw out the following concepts for easy-to-understand practical guidance:
- Caring for your own emotional health whilst you keep in mind the emotional health of others
- Tending to your own 'stress dial' and ways to dial it down where possible
- Your support network
- The FREE pdf resource
