Our impact

We are here because we believe that every child deserves to feel loved, be safe and have an education. Achieving measureable and meaningful impact is a core goal for us, and we are continuing to grow our research in order to inspire everyone about the difference we are making.

Our outcomes show that:

In 2014, we had a total of 38 church partnerships, helping 360 children per year. Now in 2020, we have well over 200 churches partnering with TLG - reaching over 5,000 children, young people and their families each year.

Join a growing movement of churches that believe that every child deserves a hope and a future. Click here to find out more about running a TLG programme.

As a result of being on the Early Intervention programme, 84% of children reported feeling more confident in themselves.

We're also seeing significant improvements in emotional wellbeing, with 97% of children saying they are more hopeful about their future after starting one-to-one coaching.

In 2019, 24,425 meals were served at our TLG Make Lunch clubs during the school holidays to children and families who may otherwise go without.

4 million children in the UK are at risk of going hungry in the school holidays. To find out how you can join TLG Make Lunch in filling the holiday hunger gap, click here.

Across all of our Education Centres, 91% of young people were making expected and better than expected progress in English and Maths in 2019.

We know there's no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to education. TLG Education Centres enable churches to bring vital support to disadvantaged and excluded young people at crisis point in their education. Find out how by clicking here.

The biggest impact though, comes through the stories of lives transformed. Take a look at the difference we're making across the UK, direct from the children, young people and families we're supporting:
