TLG North Birmingham Teaching Assistant

Starting Salary: £14,820 - £18,471 (FTE)
Working hours: 37.50 Hours Term-time only. Two full positions are available.

Working as part of the TLG centre team in North Birmingham, in partnership with Elim Life Church Kingstanding, the Teaching Assistant post provides a unique opportunity to support young people experiencing educational crisis.

TLG is an Independent School delivering alternative education provision that delivers tailored social and educational interventions for young people. The Teaching Assistant will play an integral role in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes, and working with the Head Teacher to ensure that the education centre achieves success.

You will be part of a dedicated team committed to helping young people progress. The role involves providing one-to-one and group support to students in the morning lessons, ideally planning or teaching either English or Maths, assistance with the planning and delivery of lessons as a crucial member of the team, leading sessions as timetabled, and bringing excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

We are looking to recruit an individual with a strong and compassionate Christian faith. TLG Reading Classroom Teacher

Starting Salary: £23,089 - £27,283 (FTE)

Working as part of the TLG centre team in Reading, the Classroom Teacher post provides a unique opportunity to support young people experiencing educational crisis.

TLG Reading is a centre for alternative education provision delivering tailored social and educational interventions for young people. Working in partnership with The Gate church, the Classroom Teacher will play an integral role in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes, and working with the Centre Manager to ensure that the education centre achieves success.

The role involves leading the planning and delivery of lessons, delivering high quality lessons, leading sessions as timetabled and providing one-to-one support as appropriate to bring excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

We are looking to recruit an individual with a strong and vibrant Christian faith. TLG Regional Leader (Scotland)

Starting Salary: £23,089 - £25,415 (FTE)
Working hours: 15 - 22.5 per week (2-3 days)

Location: National Support, Bradford

TLG's Early Intervention Programme works in partnership with local churches to train volunteers as behaviour coaches to go into schools and support primary-aged children through issues, which are often outside their control, such as family breakdown and bullying. The coaching sessions provide a child with space and time to think about their behaviour and get the support they need.

The TLG Regional Leader role offers a unique opportunity to manage a cluster of TLG Early Intervention Centres within Scotland. The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship builder with a vibrant Christian faith.

This key role involves leading and supporting new and established TLG EI Centres, working mainly with volunteer EI team coordinators who are assisting their team of volunteer coaches to implement the EI programme in primary schools in their area. The Regional Leader will be required to support progress against set key performance indicators by working closely with EI coordinators to facilitate the effective running of each centre.

TLG National Development Phone Team

Starting Salary: £7.90 per hour
Working hours: Flexible - dependent on phone team hours: Tuesday & Thursday, 4-8pm
