TLG Education Network Developer

Starting Salary: £45,001 (FTE)

A unique opportunity for a skilled leader to play a key role in shaping the growth and impact of TLG’s UK network of church-led Education Centres for children at risk of exclusion.

At TLG we are steadfast in our determination to reach as many young people struggling with education as possible. The Education Network Developer will be pivotal in equipping prospective church partners and bringing them through to the point of opening their own Alternative Provision Centre.

This role will suit an excellent communicator with experience of working within both education and Christian circles, able to share our vision and secure buy in from all stakeholders.

TLG Tendring Classroom Teacher

Starting Salary: £19,668-£22,487 (FTE)

Working as part of the TLG centre team in TLG Tendring, the Classroom Teacher post provides a unique opportunity to support young people experiencing educational crisis.

TLG Tendring is a centre for alternative education provision delivering tailored social and educational interventions for young people. Working in partnership with Frinton Free Church, the Classroom Teacher will play an integral role in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes, and working with the Head Teacher to ensure that the education centre achieves success.

The role involves assistance with the planning and delivery of lessons, leading sessions as timetabled and providing one-to-one support as appropriate to bring excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

We are looking to recruit a qualified teacher with a strong and vibrant Christian faith. TLG is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff including volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful applicant will be required to undertake a DBS check.

South-East Birmingham Teaching Assistant

Working as part of the TLG centre team in South East Birmingham, in partnership with Yardley Wood Baptist church, the Teaching Assistant post provides a unique opportunity to support young people experiencing educational crisis.

TLG is an Independent School delivering alternative education provision that delivers tailored social and educational interventions for young people. The Teaching Assistant will play an integral role in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes, and working with the Head Teacher to ensure that the education centre achieves success.

You will be part of a dedicated team committed to helping young people progress. The role involves providing one-to-one and group support to students in lessons, planning and teaching either PSHE, Art and Citizenship subjects, assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons as a crucial member of the team, leading sessions as timetabled, and bringing excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

We are looking to recruit an individual with a strong and compassionate Christian faith.
