HR Coordinator

Starting Salary: £18,325 - £20,362 (FTE)
Working hours: 22.50 Hours Specific days to be discussed, but including Wednesday
Closing Date: Monday, April 19th, 2021
Location: National Support, West Yorkshire

This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen interest to influence the essential HR processes within an organisation, as well as a strong passion for administration and organisational skills. With high capacity, proactive instinct and excellent communication skills, the HR Coordinator will need to be comfortable handling a wide range of administrative duties and be able to meet multiple demands and responsibilities.

You will lead on key administrative processes across the HR function to ensure that we recruit, retain and grow great people at TLG. This includes leading staff safeguarding checks, assisting with recruitment administration and playing an essential role in data reporting and payroll processes. You will be joining the team at an exciting time where we are implementing a new HR system, so this role is for someone who thrives in providing operational excellence and setting up logical processes to ensure the system is used to its full potential.

TLG’s HR Coordinator will play a vital part in our HR, People & Culture team, supporting excellent people function across the organisation. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to this Bradford-based team, working closely alongside two HR Advisors and part of a team overseen by the Head of People and Director of People & Culture. As well as a passion for TLG’s vision and developing great people, we’re looking for someone with a desire for detail and accuracy, as well as the ability to handle confidential employee information with sensitivity.

Teaching Assistant (Hull)

Starting Salary: £17,481 - £21,123 (FTE)
Working hours: 37.50 Hours per week (term-time only)

Working as part of the TLG centre team in Hull, the Teaching Assistant post provides a unique opportunity to support young people experiencing educational crisis.

TLG Hull is a centre for alternative education provision delivering tailored social and educational interventions for young people. Working in partnership with Jubilee Church, the Teaching Assistant will play an integral role in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes, and working with the Centre Manager and Classroom Teacher to ensure that the education centre achieves success.

The role involves assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons, leading sessions as timetabled and providing one-to-one support as appropriate to bring excellence to the young people’s learning experience. The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

We are looking to recruit an individual with a strong and vibrant Christian faith. TLG is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff including volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful applicant will be required to undertake a DBS check.

We are now looking for an experienced Teacher with leadership potential and a passion to support young people experiencing educational crisis.

At TLG Reading young people are valued, cared for and their potential is championed. We’re passionate about seeing young people return to mainstream school, progress on to college or find work because of the support we provide.

Your role as a Teacher will play an integral part in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes, and working with the Centre Manager to ensure that the Education Centre achieves success.

 

The role involves assistance with the planning and delivery of lessons, leading sessions as timetabled and providing one-to-one support as appropriate to bring excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  You will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

This position is ideal for the right candidate looking to grow and develop into the role of a Centre Manager. Taking on leadership of key systems and processes to ensure the smooth running of the Centre will be encouraged from the outset.
