Supporter Development Project Manager

We are seeking someone incredibly passionate about giving hope and a future to children and families by increasing the donor participation that underpins TLG’s mission financially. They will do this through excellent project management of a diverse range of initiatives and by leading our evening call team.

We are looking for a leader who is proactive, incredibly driven and strategic to join our team in this key role. The post-holder will have experience of inspiring, influencing and challenging individuals through a range of communication methods, project management experience and leadership. The role has an emphasis on growing our regular giving scheme which is known as ‘Hope Givers’. We are looking to see significant growth in this area of fundraising and so applicants must be determined, hardworking and up for a challenge!

The applicant will be passionate, tenacious, have great communication skills and a strong belief that the UK church can offer hope and a solution to struggling children through TLG. Regional Leader (North West)

TLG Volunteer Programmes are available for churches who have a heart for the struggling children and families in their communities. For Early Intervention (EI), we train, equip and support volunteers to coach children for an hour a week in school. For Make Lunch (ML), we train and support volunteers to provide nutritious meals and activities during the school holidays.

The TLG Regional Leader role offers a unique opportunity to manage a cluster of EI Centres and ML clubs within the North of England. The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship builder with a vibrant Christian faith.

This key role involves training, leading and supporting new and established TLG EI and ML Programmes, working mainly with the Volunteer Coordinators who are leading their team of volunteers. The Regional Leader will be required to support progress against set key performance indicators to ensure the best possible support is given for thriving programmes.

Reading Classroom Teacher

Working as part of the TLG centre team in Reading, the Classroom Teacher post provides a unique opportunity to support young people experiencing educational crisis.

TLG Reading is a centre for alternative education provision delivering tailored social and educational interventions for young people. Working in partnership with The Gate church, the Classroom Teacher will play an integral role in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes and working with the Centre Manager to ensure that the education centre achieves success.

The role involves leading the planning and delivery of lessons, delivering high quality lessons, leading sessions as timetabled and providing one-to-one support as appropriate to bring excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

Volunteer Programmes Administrator

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a passion to work in the TLG Volunteer Programmes (VP) Team, administering processes that ensure the growth of these programmes across the UK. The successful candidate will demonstrate great social and communication skills to achieve the best possible outcomes in providing administrative support for this team.

This key role will ensure prompt and accurate inputting of data and good communication with referees, volunteers, schools, churches and other team members. You will help support the organisation of VP Training Days across the UK, which involves organising resources for all the trainees.

TLG are looking for candidates with experience of handling competing pressures and delivering to targets, experience of using a CRM system and a vibrant Christian faith.

TLG is an Independent School delivering alternative education provision that delivers tailored social and educational interventions for young people. The Teaching Assistant will play an integral role in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes, and working with the Head Teacher to ensure that the education centre achieves success.

You will be part of a dedicated team committed to helping young people progress. The role involves providing one-to-one and group support to students in lessons, planning and teaching either PSHE, Art and Citizenship subjects, assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons as a crucial member of the team, leading sessions as timetabled, and bringing excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

Grants & Corporate Partnerships Manager

You will be someone who has the energy, drive and leadership to deliver an annual plan to maximise income from charitable trusts and corporate partners. Your goal, in all of this, will be leading a team to raise £900,000 from Charitable Trusts and Corporate Partners.

Ofsted recently rated the school as “good”, saying that “teaching staff develop excellent working relationships in their lessons and so help pupils to become more positive about their learning experiences.”

The role involves assistance with the planning and delivery of lessons, leading sessions as timetabled and providing one-to-one support as appropriate to bring excellence to the young people’s learning experience. The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.
