Food For Purpose
In 2017, following a 20 year career as a registered dietitian working across various disciplines in the NHS and food industry; Shola pioneered Food For Purpose (FFP). The team at FFP specialise in developing culturally appropriate health education programmes for Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities - especially faith groups. Shola also works with NHS trusts, local authorities and Public Health England to raise the profile of health in BAME communities and highlight links between health and faith. Shola is a PHD research student and lecturer at Coventry University exploring faith, culture and health in Black led churches.
