Trusting

Showing belief in a person's sincerity.

I have always been wary of others and can find it hard to trust others from being let down many times in the past. I am now beginning to trust you. I have not felt judged by anyone who you have introduced me to. If 100 people welcomed me but one was unkind, it would put me off! That is what I was worried about, but I have only experienced welcome, with acceptance and love. Even when I panic and don’t know if I can show up, you’re there continuing to spur me on. Thank you for being a person of your word. I value genuine relationship and the friendship that is forming. I appreciate your vulnerability with me and how you ask for my advice and what I would do in situations. I like that you value my voice, experience and background, and that you are open to hear things from a different point of view. Thank you for valuing the person that I am, and all that I bring to the table. Thank you for not trying to make me like you, but honouring the person I am.
