Working as part of the TLG centre team in TLG Tendring, the Classroom Teacher post provides a unique opportunity to support young people experiencing educational crisis.

TLG Tendring is a centre for alternative education provision delivering tailored social and educational interventions for young people. Working in partnership with Frinton Free Church, the Classroom Teacher will play an integral role in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes, and working with the Head Teacher to ensure that the education centre achieves success.

The role involves assistance with the planning and delivery of lessons; leading sessions as timetabled and providing one-to-one support as appropriate to bring excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

We are looking to recruit a qualified teacher with a strong and vibrant Christian faith. TLG Business Systems Manager

Starting Salary: £30,374 - £38,642 (SCP 33-42, dependent on experience and qualifications)

We want technology and information systems to increase our impact and effectiveness - to make what we do better, simpler, and quicker. 

We’re looking for an innovative, creative & strategic leader to lead our business systems strategy at TLG. We’ve got a really talented team of national support managers, who are either specialists in leading programmes to support children & families, or leading the teams who support our programme delivery. Some are techy, others less so. With excellent communication skills and a solution focussed approach, the Business Systems Manager will oversee the provision of technology support to all key department managers, leading the negotiation, design, management of change & implementation of appropriate systems and new technologies.

The Business Systems Manager will play a key role in the wider leadership and influence of TLG, becoming part of the National Management Team, with the opportunity to play a key role in shaping TLG’s broader strategy and direction.
