TLG Bradford Classroom Teacher

Working as part of the TLG centre team in Bradford Central, the Classroom Teacher post provides a unique opportunity to support young people experiencing educational crisis.

TLG Bradford Central is a centre for alternative education provision delivering tailored social and educational interventions for young people. Working in partnership with The Light Church, the Classroom Teacher will play an integral role in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes, and working with the Centre Manager to ensure that the education centre achieves success.

The role involves assistance with the planning and delivery of lessons, leading sessions as timetabled and providing one-to-one support as appropriate to bring excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

We are looking to recruit an individual with a strong and vibrant Christian faith. TLG is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff including volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful applicant will be required to undertake a DBS check.

Working as part of the TLG centre team in Manchester, this Teaching Assistant post provides a unique opportunity to support young people experiencing educational crisis.

TLG is an Independent School delivering alternative education provision that delivers tailored social and educational interventions for young people. The Teaching Assistant will play an integral role in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes, and working with the Head Teacher to ensure that the education centre achieves success.

You will be part of a dedicated team committed to helping young people progress. The role involves assistance with the planning and delivery of lessons; leading sessions as timetabled and providing one-to-one support as appropriate to bring excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

TLG Early Intervention Regional Leader: North of England

Starting Salary: £23,089 - £25,415 (FTE)
Working hours: 22.50 Hours

TLG's Early Intervention Programme works in partnership with local churches to train volunteers as behaviour coaches to go into schools and support primary-aged children through issues which are often outside their control, such as family breakdown and bullying. The coaching sessions provide a child with space and time to think about their behaviour and get the support they need.

The TLG Early Intervention Regional Leader role offers a unique opportunity to manage a cluster of TLG Early Intervention Centres within the North of England. The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship builder with a vibrant Christian faith.

This key role involves leading and supporting new and established TLG EI Centres, working mainly with volunteer EI team coordinators who are assisting their team of volunteer coaches to implement the EI programme in primary schools in their area. The EI Regional Leader will be required to support progress against set key performance indicators by working closely with EI coordinators to facilitate the effective running of each centre.

A strategic leader and project manager, with an understanding of technology, to lead a team of specialists providing technical support and development, to increase our impact and effectiveness.

We’re looking for an innovative, creative & strategic leader to lead our business systems strategy at TLG. We’ve got a really talented team of national support managers, who are either specialists in leading programmes to support children & families, or leading the teams who support our programme delivery; some are techy, others less so. With excellent communication skills and a solution focussed approach, the Head of Business Systems will oversee the provision of technology support to all key department managers, leading the negotiation, design, management of change & implementation of appropriate systems and new technologies.

The Head of Business Systems will play a key role in the wider leadership and influence of TLG, becoming part of the National Management Team, with the opportunity to play a key role in shaping TLG’s broader strategy and direction.

The role involves assistance with the planning and delivery of lessons, leading sessions as timetabled and providing one-to-one support as appropriate to bring excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.
