TLG Head of Business Systems

Starting Salary: £35,773-£43,467
Working hours: 37.50 Hours Monday - Friday, occasional evening & weekend work required

We want technology and information systems to increase our impact and effectiveness - to make what we do better, simpler, and quicker.

We’re looking for an innovative, creative & strategic leader to lead our business systems strategy at TLG. We’ve got a really talented team of national support managers, who are either specialists in leading programmes to support children & families, or leading the teams who support our programme delivery; some are techy, others less so. With excellent communication skills and a solution focussed approach, the Head of Business Systems will oversee the provision of technology support to all key department managers, leading the negotiation, design, management of change & implementation of appropriate systems and new technologies.

The Head of Business Systems will play a key role in the wider leadership and influence of TLG, becoming part of the National Management Team, with the opportunity to play a key role in shaping TLG’s broader strategy and direction.  

We are looking for candidates with a strong and vibrant Christian faith. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure via the DBS.

TLG Receptionist

Starting Salary: £17,408 - £20,427 (FTE)
Working hours: 22.50 Hours Wednesday - Friday, 8.30-5pm

Starting Salary: £25,039 – £30,374

TLG People & Development Assistant

Starting Salary: £16,648 - £18,997 (depending on experience and with scope for further progression beyond this band as the role develops & experience is gained)
Working hours: 37.50 Hours utilising flexitime if needed

TLG is looking for an outstanding graduate who is passionate about people and their development and excited by an opportunity to train in HR. Working alongside the HR team you will play a significant part in developing TLG’s People Strategy, supporting and delivering key projects and initiatives across TLG.

The ideal candidate will need to be able to build strong working relationships across the team, collaborating and influencing effectively to achieve great outcomes. They will need to be able to thrive in a fast paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to a range of senior managers.  Excellent people instinct is essential for the role as the successful candidate will be assisting the HR team on all day to day aspects, including staff recruitment, induction, staff engagement and talent development.

Whilst no previous HR experience is required, we are looking for someone who has a passion to develop and progress in this field and a candidate who may be interested in further study through a CIPD qualification: a great opportunity for someone who would like to start their career in HR.

A unique opportunity for a dynamic Educational Leader to shape the growth and effectiveness of TLG’s UK network of 13 Church led Education Centres for children at risk of exclusion.
