Our Education Centres are hosted in a local community to provide a safe, OFSTED approved learning environment for small groups of young people. With intensive support, students work on essential qualifications and tackle the behavioural and social issues that have caused the difficulties in school.
For many of TLG's young people, there are issues beyond their control which have
prevented them from succeeding in education. Research in our centres suggests that in a class of nine:
TLG seeks to understand the needs of each individual young person and offer them the appropriate support.

- Last year 5,740 permanent exclusions and 370,000 fixed term exclusions were recorded in the UK.
- 2/3 of the prision population have been excluded from school
The importance of partnership
Building upon our past experience and success, our vision is to bring the opportunity of TLG to children and young people in every part of the UK.
We are opening up to three new Education Centres and supporting ten new Early Intervention centres each year. Each centre is delivered in partnership with a local church partner to reflect the community in which they are based and ensure that they bring the best possible support to children, young people and their families.
